Does anybody know what it means when you get the message, "[Pokemon] is nervous about its surroundings." I keep getting it and I don't know why. Fucking around with whatever new thing you caught in the Animal Rubbing Simulator was one of the highlights of my XY+ experience though, since there was no other comfy shit in the games or real means of interacting with them.

It was still poorly animated and shittily implemented, but they could have improved significantly in a switch game. Instead we got this shit.

The individual animations were great but there were still only a handful of them so it gets same-y after a while and doesn't encourage you to keep playing with them after you've maxed out their affection unless you're autistic like me

I think the most disappointing thing about it all is that if they had just bodged it in there this camp shit would probably have fixed most of the problems I had with refresh as it originally was as far as that part goes. Then they could just keep building on it in the future to add some more depth and activities to it.

Kalos is easily the most forgettable region ever, but XY got some things right. Player customization, easier EV training, Amie, and the best bottom screen we've ever had with the PSS. Sure it's clearly worse than every game before it, but it's also a lot better than every game after it

The very fact Camp exists makes me mad as fuck.
It's a fucking console RPG centered around raising creatures, by the highest grossing franchise on Earth.
Interacting with your pokemon shouldnt be limited to some shitty locked mini-game like in 3DS games.
You should be able to take your pokemon out at any moment, to have them follow you, to ride them, to have them fetch items for you....etc
