Logical way to handle things.

1- Make Over World Shiny Pokemon show up as Shiny like the Lets Go games. How they moved away from that is anyone's guess, fucking hell.

2- Don't make super strong Pokemon uncatchable, just make them not obey.
"B-b-b-but difficulty!" if your game is so piss easy that someone can faint a Pokemon that's over 2 times the level of their strongest Pokemon then why not allow them to be captured? Or if someone jumps through hoops to get this Pokemon in catch range then again, why not let them catch it?

But people gonna suck that GF dick to no end so w/e.

If this is true, and not some fake bullshit a guy made to ragepost then it begs the question, did gamefreak make the statement about overleveled pokemon being unable to be shiny, or was that one of those things that some guy on a podcast said, and then it gets circulated by all of the journos.

they moved away from it because the multiplayer aspect would have made people salty about not getting to a shiny first
I mean they could have also just changed the MP so the pokemon is catchable by everyone since the game already has copypasted Pokemon Go code, or have shinies in the wild area be limited to raids or some shit
or turn off shinies when you're connected to other players, jesus fucking christ gamefreak, why are there half a dozen better ways to do something than any of the designs you decided to go with

1. Just beat the game yesterday. When fighting against your box legend, there is no music. It's supposed to be surreal I think. Was definitely odd and you can tell how badly cut some sound effects are with music off.
2. Legends and starters ARE shiny locked. There are even codes for hacked switches to fix that.

no, it's still 1/4096 the difference is that with multiple encounters it starts dropping until it maxes out at 500 encounters leaving you at a 1 in 585 and with the shiny charm that would be 1 in 455

for comparison's sake in Let's go games the shiny charm plus a lure being deployed plus your 31 chain gives you a max of 1 in 273
