(Gen 1 has alot of classic designs and I don't hate any of them, Gen 7 has great designs all throughout and restored my faith in the Pokemon design team)
Gen 3 = Gen 4
(I dig Gen 3's tropical vibe and Gen 4's aesthetic as well)
Gen 2
(A lot of very plain looking Pokemon but still a good gen)
Gen 5 = Gen 8
(These Gens are very polarizing, a lot of Pokemon have amazing designs but an equal number have very questionable designs)
Gen 6
(Some solid designs but the most forgettable gen to me)
