All of the Gym Leaders and your Rivals would try to fend Eternatus off while you and Hop try to figure out how the fuck to help, go after Rose, who went to the Slumbering Weald to seek out Zacian/Zamazenta (who he believes would put a stop to the Darkest Day)
You fight him, catch the Legendary, return to Wyndon to kick Eternatus's ass, but it Eternamaxes
Your newly caught Legendary, the other Legendary, Hop, and Leon all help you take Eternatus down
The actual Champion fight could be before or after this; if it's after then it'd play out like it does normally, if it's before then that would make Eternamax Eternatus the final boss of the story
