Does anyone else boycotting gen 8 want to include a gen 8 mon on your foavorite Pokémon chart feel weird about doing so since they can’t use one?

Not really.
It's more that pokemon games are always gonna feel disjointed now. I can now never use ALL the pokemon I like in the same game.

It's a shame the games themselves haven't turned out so great. I love a lot of the new pokemon, probably more than the ones introduced in Gens 6 and 7, and they've got some good basic ideas (imo) in the raid battles and wild area, but it's all just so lacking. Regardless, you don't need to have used a pokemon to really like it imo. You can love it for it's design, typing, etc. and not for how hard it kicks ass ingame/competitive.

Very true as well. I actually don’t give two shits about competitive I just wish I could use him alongside my other bros. But he’s stuck with all the baggage gen 8 carries which is quite frustrating.
I will say I disagree about this gens designs as a whole I think the vast majority are god awful.

Okay, something is clearly wrong here. At first I was like, “Man, fuck this game, and fuck this gay little fat apple thing.”

Then I was like, “Alright, still fuck this game, but Appletun is alright.”

Then I learned about Apple Acid and I was like, “Appletun is my favorite Pokémon this gen, and probably one of my favorites in recent memory. Even if this gen sucks, Appletun is great!”

Now I’m like, “I wish I could justify buying a Switch so I could the game used and finally play with my lil’ nigga Appletun®, my favorite Pokémon.”

Anybody else have this happen to them? I generally hate foodmon, and yet I feel like I’m being brainwashed to consume more Nintendo products by this tiny fucking dinosaur thing.

Swampert @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Torrent
- Earthquake
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Rest

All purpose attacker. One weakness, insane coverage. Rest when needed to continue destroying every pokemon.

Gyarados @ Cheri Berry
Ability: Intimidate
- Return
- Dragon Dance
- Sleep Talk
- Rest

Debuff support just on switching in. Neutral to grass, can set up and sweep on nearly anything not using an electric or rock move. Swampert covers his only two weakness.

Salamence @ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
- Dragon Claw
- Brick Break
- Fly
- Fire Blast

Also comes with debuff. Quad resists swampers on weakness and destroys them with flying and fire attacks. Insane BST even higher then swamps and gyarados. Amazing coverage defence and offense. 100 base speed too. Typing is perfect with next member
