guys, I really wanna inject pokemon on ultra sun. I already have homebrew on my 2ds, and its firmware is 11.12.0-44U. can anyone point me in the right direction?

You can do it directly on the console with PKSM. It can also read the DS cartridges.

Yeah but pkhex gets frequent updates and can be used for any pokemon game

this. I specifically want pkhex because it allows for very precise pokemon editing and has frequent updates. I have homebrew launcher, but I have no Idea what the jksavemanager is or how to get pkhex because I'm a pinhead dipshit.

pkhex is a great program but I really wish it were cross platform. Obviously wine exists but wine also sucks compared to native.

Highlight "main"
Press A
Copy
Return to FBI main menu
SD
<current directory>
Press A
Paste
Turn off 3DS
Take out SD and plug into computer
Edit to your hearts content
Copy "main" back into the game

Its a game .cia installer bit can also be used to edit system files or saves.

anon described it in an extremely roundabout way since JKSM is like 28737728 times easier to use but this should work.
