Firstly, I can't tell if you're overplaying your hysteria for effect or how much your so certain, but your opinion on OW is not nearly as objective as you think. There's a much more nuanced conversation To be had about it, but here
Are OWs overdone? Ya
Are they usually not good? Ya, many of them are perfunctory, derivative and bland, nothing new under the sun for mediocrity to be prevelant in any industry.
Are they objectively bad? Don't be dumb. I like the concept of pokemon OW and more importantly I think they have some successful leads in it's implementation. Watching the pokemon's personality play out in their in world behavior is hugely to my taste, who scatters, teleports away, curiously investigates you, territorily defends against you etc. Navigating around the actual creatures and dodging or sneaking up to catch were always dream features to me and I'm getting a lot of enjoyment out of them. They're lacking in ambition hugely, production values and gameplay possibilities for sure, but it's the start of a good thing FOR ME
Your fucking miserable. BotW was incredibly thrilling for me and one of the most to the bone best experiences I ever had with games. And you're gonna sit here and project that sacred cow for me as if my experience was some false idol hiding some objective truth from myself because you know what's actually best.
One of the best cases you have is that splitting GFs time up was an unfortunate side effect of hopeful, even wishful people thinking GF had the potential to do OW right diluting resources from the less resource intensive ways they get barely right currently but I have news for you buster
Some of us are ready for that risk because we want more
And I think theres a few positive steps in the right direction
You're literally embodying Hitler with his obsessive, delusional projection on how the world actually is and your wrong.
