So a friend of mine who bought this game and is trying to sell me on it made an argument I wanted to bring up. They compared the ever growing dex to the entropy cycle and argued that it had to be capped at some point otherwise gamefreak would lose control of what they created, arguing that "Now's as good a time as any to put their foot down".
Is he right? Are we expecting too much from these people to want to have new pokemon each game but also ALL of the old pokemon along with them?
