>>41298284At least Gates had a pretty neat story. It's no EoTDS, but it's good, especially with how they actually implement you, the player, and to an extent, the human world, into the game. The pretty lights you see are other humans who were turned into Pokemon as well, but were taken out by Manna and its gang. You are literally just lucky your partner finds you first. And then the post game mission to get you to come back, your partner doesn't want to be selfish and even though they want you to come back, they respect the fact that you have family and friends in the human world. Later on in a special cave, your partner and Hydreigon both look UP at the screen, at YOU, break the 4th wall, and ask if YOU would like to return. You can refuse, and nothing will happen, or you can say yes andnyour character returns. Hydreigon adds that it's now possible for the player to go to both worlds whenever he wishes, since that is what your partner wished for.
