So how do the gigantamax dens work? Do I just keep throwing wishing pieces in hoping to get one? Where the hell do I get pic related?

I think they can spawn at a den where the regular pokemon does. The event makes Drednaw spawn a lot more commonly, though, so there's no assigned nest for it.

Not sure but yesterday i got my first Gmax. 7 hours in and about to challenge Nessa but went back to the wild area and noticed i was getting 2 stars along with 1 star raids, few minutes later i found gmax butterfree! Took me 3 resets to capture it with 1 ultra ball i found

The best way is to find a den that spawns pokemon of the same type as the giga you're looking for, comparing the pokemon to the ones from the datamined tables, and hoping you find the right den eventually. Then chuck wishing stones in there until a rare den appears (big spiral pink beam) and hope to god you are blessed with the 5% chance of finding it

I found a G-max Butterfree today. He got in no issues for me, I have yet to have anything break out of a raid catch. Guess all my luck is going to that instead of the dig cunts who keep giving me a single useless item instead of the fucking fossils I need.

So are Dynamaxed Pokemon the only ones with hidden abilities? I need hidden abilities especially for my Gothitelle because Shadow Tag is busted.

Neither are very reliable ways though, so I guess just buying them for 3k is the way to go. Gives me like 4 or 5 dens a day. Still no god damn dittos from that den near the nursery.

Play by yourself with NPC companions.

Use Ultra balls.

When I play raids with friends/randoms I struggle to catch anything because the raid boss tends to be at a way higher level than if you play by yourself.
