Why is the game so fucking small? I mean honestly? It feels much smaller than gen 2 and 3 ffs. Where is the fucking exploration? Are we supposed to sit in the retard kindergarten playpen that is the wild area for the rest of the game? Where are the islands you can surf to? Where are the big caves with multiple puzzles that go deeper and deeper? Where are the thick forests with branching paths? Where the FUCK is the content?!

On the cutting room floor, the game doesn't need content to sell. They could probably make a streamlined one where it's literally a straightaway through the game with shops, small areas for wild Pokemon to spawn on the sides of it, and boss fights and it'd sell. They could cut 80% of the Pokemon and it'd still sell.
They could literally name the games Fuck and You and they'd sell.

Masuda and Ohmori think kids, their target audience, play games on their smartphones only these days and have no patience/too low of an attention span to make them search for things themselves. So the games became hallway general with no room for exploration or puzzles and barely any, if any, difficulty.
And it will only get worse, really the only way for Pokemon to might have some effort put into it again is when a Pokemon game flops, which we know will never happen.

Honestly at this point I think this>>41302650 is true. People don't care about dungeons, they just want to spank their cutemons and feed them curry. Oh wait you can't even pet them anymore so the former's out of the question. Enjoy watching them magnetize a ball instead.
People just don't care. Nothing that pisses us off pisses off anyone else. People play the game to the end of the story then put the game down, never touching it again. Adding dungeons just frustrates these people and it's an effort only 5% of the fanbase will praise, so why bother.

I didn't mind XY that much, it's just that the gyms underwhelmed me and the new Pokemon designs weren't my favorite. Then again I liked USUM because I adore UBs and bug types so I can't say shit about what games are good or not.

what is the deal with competitive this time? is it actually easier to get pokemon with good stats and level them up and such? the move remember guy being in the pokecenter is pretty nice. i'm only a few hours in and it seems this time that the story is just a tutorial for them really trying to push people to attempt a more serious try at actually building teams and being more competitive about it rather than just beating the elite 4 and then never playing the game again. pretty shitty situation desu

Don't you know? Kids are only capable of exploring the app stores on their phones. In Gen 9, the games will be called Pokemon Road and Trip and all you do is get someone to drive you in a straight line from the starting city. In Gen 10, they release Pokemon Sky and Sea. They'll say they listened to complaints and you can go to every previous region, but you can only go to one city and there's no routes. You just take a boat or a plane there and people hand you Pokemon at the city. And Gen 11 will be the worst of all. You don't even leave the starting town. They took a page from Little Town Hero and the entire game takes place in your town, and there's no fights. All you do is cook curry, take naps with your Pokemon and play with them like pets. The game is just a place that has compatibility all the other apps like Pokemon Home and Pokemon Sleep.
