Has anyone found G-max Grimmsnarl yet? How much fucking work am I in for here? Just beat the story last night and really want to go farm raids to find one.

Go by this here. Shows which Pokémon show up in which den. I haven’t found Grimmsnarl either but I plan on grinding for it today when I get home from work.

I feel like a retard being so clueless as to how these games work and out of the loop since I havent played since Ruby. What's the difference between catching a Pokemon normally and catching a giant one?

You have to defeat the giant Pokemon in a raid and you get one shot to catch it. If it breaks out, it flees.

Better IVs (the hidden base stats that you can't modify). 5 star dynamax raid pokemon have 4 out of 6 stats as perfect whereas wild pokemon are completely randomized and usually much worse stat wise.

Yes. If they break out the ball they flee. It's a lot more common in higher tier raids.

But, you don't have to worry about accidentally killing them. You have to drain their health to 0 in order for the catch opportunity to pop up. So you can hit them as hard as you want and you can still get the catch.
