It's really not low effort though. Aside from the wild area having low res textures in some places the overall presentation of the game is really good. There's a lot of attention to detail when it comes to little things, and there's clearly a lot of care put into the games

Because it was the first mainline game on a home console (not counting Let's Go) so you would expect GF would put at least a little bit of effort into it.
As a game it's embarassing for Pokemon SwSh to be on the same console as Xenoblade 2, BOTW, Odyssey and other massive games, but since "lol it's pokemon" people overlook it.
