Yes. Some were admittedly redundant, but some were signature moves of Pokémon that are still in the games, and others were pretty fucking important in competitive play like Hidden Power and Pursuit.

it's something like 195,000. Sun and Moon had 300k. pokemon is always front loaded, so it'll be interesting to see other parts of the world or how it is in two months. if actual numbers never get put out, that's a bit of a bad sign.

That's fair. I expect sales to go up in the next month because the holidays as well. But I wonder if they'll talk about the sold through amount. I work at a Vidya store and I still have copies of both. But some places count the ones we still have as sold.

they're technically sold in the manner that the store buys them and it's up to them to recoup those losses. shady practices to add in retail outlet purchases and not just consumer purchases.

my local walmart is still fully stocked with like three rows of each in their locked games case, even through the $10 they've been doing for new releases.

most other switch games only have a couple a piece, luigi's mansion had six dedicated rows and none are left, the new star wars game had two and they're also vanished.

I think it depends on how long it takes to get patched, in all honesty. the fact the game is fucking with everything on its network is worth being nervous over. sales may go up when it's confirmed to be resolved.
