I haven't played the past two generations nor any of the extra side games. Picked this up and it's been just as enjoyable. I hate that a lot of my favs got cut too but it's not like I can't go back and play the old games.

I actually got back I'm to sun and moon, since I know I'd get some enjoyment out of it in comparison, the nice things they added did not justify the cut or the half assed story, they fucking got rid of both psywave and bide. Corporate has gotten too comfy with the success of pokemon that they can profit from this shit. I'm glad I refunded my pre order the day before release

that first run is pretty straight forward the speedrun time will be arround usum time and previous games spedruns range between 2 and 6 hours so between 5 to 6 hours speedrun is still higher than the average and most of the games

the review times are garbage as much as the ratings they gave to the games blast that shit away, the 8 hour first play rush is what should be talked about, if you discount cutscene times(the videos showing all cutscenes have dead time in between each cutscene actual time is arround 3 hours wich is close to the game explain video) the game will be somewhere arround 3 hours on a good speedrun thats still more time than half the series withouth removing their cutscenes

The issue with that is that SwSh is already so bad, I don't think a third installment can fix it. These ones pictured, their first iterations were fantastic, and so the third ones went higher from that and are god-tier titles.
