The game is good though. Theres no lando and other trash game ruining mons anymore and working around gigantismax isn't even a big deal. My only issues are gts being gone and still no 6v6 singles but gf loves their shitty small brain Vgc format.

I highly doubt kids are playing this game to be honest. Children have a short attention span and won’t sit through an hour and a half of spamming A through meaningless chatter just to get to turn based gameplay.

This might have worked in the past when other options were scarce, but we’re not in the gameboy color era anymore. Kids are playing fortnite on their phones for instant multiplayer action.

Do you remember being a child? They're not lobotomy patients. When I was 8 I was raising Chaos in the sonic advance games and playing the gameboy Pokemon. When I was 12 I was being a squeaker on xbox live voice chat for halo and modern warfare and raiding in WOTLK

The handholding in newer Pokemon games is beyond "it's for kids", it's treating the audience as if they're toddlers (who wouldn't even be able to play because despite being a $60 home console release there is STILL no voice acting)
