There was also a thread earlier about someone modifying the USUM models to HD so that they work in the current games.
We all know that everything GF said were excuses, but when you see 2-3 people doing it in a matter of days without even having access to the source code and original tools, it's just sad.

The sad thing is nobody is going to make the effort to show this to GF, Nintendo or TPC...it's going to remain a mod. It won't bring back our friends on the 3DS, not without some serious modifications to Pokemon Bank and Home or alternative methods.

It's a shame too, Mario + Rabbids and Sonic Mania all started out as passion projects.

I don't understand's people jump in logic that TPC somehow had a hand in why SWSH is a mess. Game Freak had 3 years to make this game is a "indie" dev team of at least 80/140 people.
There are smaller teams with less time that made better pokemon games. Game Freak is to blame and nobody else.

The closest thing to official you will get is a Designer from the team telling you they were lazy and just didn't import most of the models and still skimped on the animations models.

You are free to mod a game/console to your heart's content since you bought it, you own it, they can't do shit to you aside from refusing service (reparations/online)
