if you're go through the game and only catch 6 pokemon you're doing it wrong. It's a ton of fun on my end, and the raid battles give you plenty to do.

there's literally never been a non-linear pokemon game. just because a route has tons of unnecessary windings and obstacles to force backtracking isn't healthy gameplay and just extends play time artificially.

Look at that mountain the train is going through. Look at those icy mountains behind the ice gym. Look at the forest to the right side of the wild area.

You're basically criticizing what a video game is. If you want a theme park ride, go to Disney World
