Do you think Gamefreak had PAID SHILLS for SS?

We all know the fans are retarded, but those "HACKERS MODIFIED THE GAME TO MAKE IT LOOK WORSE" rumors came out of nowhere.

And then when a few people had real bricks, everyone screamed MODDED SYSTEMS ONLY despite modded systems being immune.

It really feels like full time paid shills were defending this. News sites reported these lies too.

Who do you think runs those sites? Fanboys, brand loyalists. News sites will also lie and cover up for free if they think it will mean favorable treatment from developers and publishers down the line.
However I think this rather highlights the problem that it doesn't matter if people are doing it because they're bribed or just stupid. The outcome for everyone else is the same either way.

Not just news sites. PokeTubers seem to be keeping silent on the whole ordeal and/or defending all of it. Not to mention there was an image floating around the other day that listed the shit ton of different companies (a lot of them not video games) that mentioned Pokemon Sword and Shield on social media the day before release. Something's off about this whole thing.

Ok but there has never been a Pokémon game that you can Catch all of them in. USM has a dex of 400, but still let’s you transfer missing ones over once you be the elite four. Why not let you in Sword once you beat the game?

I don’t think they had balance in mind when they decided for all of the Pokémon you can transfer over that aren’t in the dex was to consist of solely legendaries and a few starters.

I only know one dude besides me who likes Pokemon and he bought it. I asked him for his honest opinion and he told me "It's pretty shitty but I'm trying my best to have fun".
The online features are a pain in the ass, there's no postgame and no extra shit. Raids get samey as hell after a while.
There's just a downgraded Tower clone.
Give it 2 months at most. I gurantee it'll be half-forgotten. Nobody's gonna say "oh, gen 8 was my favorite", it doesn't do anything better than literally every other Pokemon game, and does quite a few things worse, like the complete lack of anything extra to do. And I personally fi d the dynamax gimmick really fucking stupid but that is subjective.
t. played my friends copy a tiny bit and watched him do a few later game shit
Of course people are nuts now, it's been 3 days. It's still shiny to them. But nobody's gonna give a fuck once it's all over. The game is bereft of shit to do sans story and raids.

Half the moves are useless, Dynamax is either REALLY GOOD or REALLY BAD depending on the Pokemon, no in-between, and they got rid of nearly 100 moves without any obvious rhyme or reason to it, while Judgement and Light of Ruin are still in the data despite being literally unusable as of this version.

I think we have a lot more to learn and who really fucking knows the true nature of this reality, how it works, or what’s going on.
