When can I catch gigantamax mons? Its getting underwhelming to see the gym leaders have a cool transformed aced while mine just gets bigger

I believe they’re tied to specific dens in the wild area
The only one I have is a dynamax Sandaconda that was a complete bitch to catch until some absolute based individual came in with their Rillaboom and I used my Seismiatoad to boost its attack with gigantimax fighting type move and it was level 70 when I caught it
