Recently I became curious to see how much work it would take to upscale the textures from the 3DS models to work in HD. I came up with a much clearer result in 3 minutes using Waifu2x.

I will not say this is perfect, but it seems like a fantastic start to getting the texture upscaled and ready for touch-ups. I feel confident the rest of the work can be done in roughly 15 minutes.

Does anyone happen to know where I can find some textures for pokemon ripped from Sword and Shield so I can create a new texture based off the style? I'll post results here when I'm finished.
