I'm surprised nobody's gotten some kind of pirate server up and running for the Switch yet, similar to what the Wii has now. If ever a game warranted one it's this one, all signs point to Pokemon getting hacked to shit and having a far superior version for hackers/pirates to play.

Dude I love Pokémon and have played every single game hours on end but when let’s go came out I dropped the series like a hot rock to wait for sword and shield. This shit is inexcusable for a franchise this large. I figure modeling all the monsters you created is the bare fucking minimum you can do. This franchise is a husk of its previous self in everything but revenue. Once again corporate greed completely fucks something up

It's really not that hard. I spent 4 hours and I had pokemon sword 5 days before release. And most of that time was downloading and transferring files. If you are worried about the pinout hardware hack just buy the plug they sell on Amazon for like 5 bucks.

well the model has the info on what texture it uses, to add a texture edited version of a skyrim weapon you have to open the model, edit the texture info to the new one it needs to use and export it as a new model.

Mods can fix parts of it. Romhacks that fix difficulty have always been trivial, and fixing the atrocious pop-in likely is as well. The real challenge is gonna be the fuckawful route design.
