Tao trio are planetary. OG dragon is universal. Lugia is easily continental if just one wing flap can cause a month long hurricane. Deoxys is canonically stronger than the primals making it planetary. Hoopa is creation trio tier.

Legendary pokemon and their lore/concepts being central to the games' stories makes the games bland, yes. Every game from gen 3 on has the same pattern of the bad guy wanting a legend to further their epic plan using the cover legend's power. This would be fine if gamefreak had good writers, but they don't.

Eternamax Eternatus is A tier and regular Eternatus is C or D tier. Zacian and Zamazenta are hard to tell, they don't seem that strong at all, could be E tier and just cheese their anti-dynamax moves to beat Eternatus (that and the magic power of friendship and teamwork of course)

There's not much evidence to indicate the lake trio can do much outside of mind control by working together to make the Red Chain, and even then that allegedly is a check designed to only work vs Dialga/Palkia. Their dex entries indicate that willpower/emotion/knowledge were brought into the world of already-existing people and Pokemon, so it's not like they're mindless husks without them, maybe just a bit dumber or something. Uxie is the only one that even indicates it can weaponize its power, and even then it requires a Pokemon to see its always-closed eyes.

Lake Trio admittedly probably has more going for them than the other trios, but putting them anywhere above Mid is insanity. Like, Xerneas and Yveltal are the living embodiments of life and death. There's no way that a handful of niche abilities skyrockets the weak-in-combat Lake Trio higher than that.

Just before you post this image again, It's pretty bad, I don't understand why Ultra-Necrozma is up with the creation trio when the only thing he can do is produce light and open portals, sure necroma could "bend" space and time, but unlike palkia and dialga who have absolute control over time & space, they don't only bend it but control it. You're giving this pokemon too much credit, there's a reason why necrozma is in constant pain and that's because it isn't all that powerful.

Retard logic. Being able to beat them doesn't mean it has the same destructive output. Plus the reason the primals are planetary is because they have control over the elements, not because they can shoot Dragonball lasers through the planet or something.

But before Arceus there was nothing, it's stated that after Arceus's birth he created Palkia and Dialga, then he created the pixie trio along with Sinnoh which is also stated to be the first region to be ever created.

Ok, but Xerneas and Yveltel aren't all that powerful, sure they have a tons of energy but they need to recharge, there's only so much that they can do, unlike the creation trio who's total control over space and time doesn't have limits they not only represent space and time but are the embodiment of said thing, it's universal, just like the pixie trio, they are the embodiment of the soul, and while they don't have the fire power they do represent the soul in an universal scale because it's only thanks to them that intelligence exists, so like I said fire power from the other legendary pokemon is limited but knowledge intelligence and wisdom isn't, their powers are everywhere.

The lake trio are litterally relativistic to the creation trio in terms of power, they just are the source of all spirtual/metaphysical concepts like emotion, intellegience, etc; rather then physical matter and spacetime.

Also giratina being antimatter is sort of dumb. It makes sense in the context of Dialga and Palkia making matter with their powers together and Giratina being an accidental creation from that, and in the context of it representing his "destructive tendacies" (since antimatter and matter blow up on contact) and "being banished", sincme there's a suspscious lack of antimatter in real life despite mathmatically there should be an equal amount as matter; which actually makes for a really clever concept and set of pokedex ettriesa; but "Time, Space, and Antimatter" doesn't exactly flow well; as a trio.

Him being Gravity would have worked a bit better, I think

Rayquaze is minuscule compared to Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. The only reason why it is relevant is because of game stats, which mean literally nothing about the power of the Pokemon canonically.

It doesn't, at all. Mew being the ancestor of Pokemon does not conflict with Arceus being the Alpha Pokemon. It is obvious that soe Pokemon came before Mew, but Mew being the ancestor of all Earth-based Pokemon still is supported.

Come on, anon, you can at least point out stuff that actually happens in the games. Starting with gen 3, the world almost gets destroyed in every single game except gen 5.
On the same topic, did anyone else think the plot of X was kino? The idea of turning everyone in Kalos/the world (I can't remember which one it was) immortal against their will is genuinely horrifying, and is a much better villain motive than "I WANT TO KILL EVERYBODY", even if the actual writing of the game wasn't really good enough to convey it properly. It's also probably the closest the Pokemon games have gotten to having the different versions be genuinely different. Sure, it only basically changes the interpretation of the characters and plot, but the bar is so low here that that's orders of magnitude beyond the other games.

It's kind of in an awkward situation where people who want the Deepest Lore only really have table scraps to work with, and people who don't give a shit still have to sit through the story cutscenes where the NPCs jabber on about how the new box legendary is the most powerful thing ever. I think the series would benefit from taking a page out of Kirby's book, where there are tiny little snippets of optional information if you want it. The dex entries are almost there, but I think they could benefit from being longer than the one or two sentences they are now.

Personally, I've always liked to imagine that none of the creation lore really happened.
Instead all the Pokemon gained form and personality out of the minds of humans.
Normal Pokemon were born from individual stories, ideas and dreams.
Legendary Pokemon were born from stories shared around large groups of people, which is why certain regions are associated with certain Pokemon.
The idea of a creator became Arceus and a devil figure in Giratina.
Aliens became Deoxys and The Ultra Beasts as well as Elgyem and Beheeyem.
Wishing upon stars became Jirachi.
The ideas about the origins of life became Mew.

It's a dumb and not totally serious theory, but it would make the idea of these all somehow existing together a bit more plausible to me.

I think we moved past the point of no return with Gen 3. and at this point they might as well fluff it out better. also in Gen 5's defense and also my headcanon'd defense Unova had a lot of Philisophical and especially greek themes and over tones, it was well thought out for BW and then BW2 kinda (while still being good games) took a shit on what they established tone wise with the first set of games and made it more typical rather then keeping a more grey tone (not absolutely, but enough to make you take a pause). with the exception of Kyuremb/w (ironically given I am asking for the original dragon) they kinda dropped the ball with gen 5 possibly due to reception of Gen 5. and don't get me started on how Ultra-Necrozma low Key stole Kyurem's Schtick with kyurem being left with literally nothing on the side..

It can take light from an entire dimension, permanently fuck up the barrier between reality and ultra space (leading to things like totem pokemon and ultra wormholes happening), and freely travel between dimensions. Memory wiping might not even be a full mind wipe either, which in that case he's still fucked. Other than their incredible matchup against Dialga/Palkia, lake trio basically are do-nothings. This would be like arguing that since Suicune has the ability to purify water, it could potentially be able to do the opposite and turn all the blood in your body into a toxic sludge. There's no basis for it other than sheer speculation.

I mean it literally Fuses with two Cover Legends to Regain it's lost power, taking on a merged form with them, then later can only restore it's original form by using them, also taking on the same theme/tone as Kyurem/OG in this regard. the literal schtick that made Kyurem special in the pokeverse save that Necrozma has some differences (not needing both legendaries, and both legendaries not being born of it)

When you put it like that, it's pretty bad. I guess you could argue that both of their stories have a different flavor to it (with Kyurem's being more grounded, or as grounded as you can be while still telling a story involving legendary Pokemon, and Necrozma's having more of a cosmic horror vibe) but that's pretty weak.
