They are not broken in Doubles which is the only way to play competitively. Tournaments are played in double.

The only place where dynamax may be broken are on obscure simulators on internet or fan-made rules that should be illegal and literally no one plays.

In the actual e-sport of pokemon they are objectively much more balanced than megas and z-moves.

The only thing that fucks dynamax are held items and maintaining stat boosts.

Dynamax should do:
Temporally full stat reset
Temporally disable status ailment
Disable item ability
And hit through immunities with neutral damage ignoring type-effectiveness, protection, substitute.

There is no way dynamaxing turn 1 for three turn games won't be the only way to play doubles. Also, the way Max moves and dynamaxes are currently implemented on PS are broken and are WEAKER than what's the actual reality on cart, and still need to be fixed. We don't even know the true extent of the damage yet in any formats, its only going to get worse.

Need too much slots to make that shit works and still need a good prediction since electric and grass type moves on same pokemon are something common. You can switch to ground and take a max overgrowth, etc

Because its like the fastest thing that actually learns them, being able to U-Turn out isn't a bad bonus either.

Dragapult is kinda mediocre and probably loses a huge niche if Dynamax gets banned and scarf becomes irrelevant, but its not like its completely ass.
