Most people write him off as a discount Lucario, but it's fun to use Zorua and abuse the in-game AI in terms of type weakness.
Competitively, he's pretty one-note. Otherwise a pretty good mon for the story.

I don't know if gf actually did research into the american gray fox to base it on, it's the only fox mon with rounder pupils like a gray fox, but I doubt gf actually did that research.
