>>41327442Not infallible but more credible than an anon who's done nothing but posted a logical leap backed by no evidence whatsoever. It doesn't even have to be him. But if there's anyone who knows the inner workings of the Switch and is willing to give heads or tails on this shit, he's be a more trust-able source.
Up until now, not a SINGLE proof has been posted in any of these ongoing threads of SwSh utilizing NAND for VM. Not one.
Many claims by literally nobody, like 2 or 3 Japanese tweets that have little to no information in them, and a repost of SciresM's tweet regarding the SD card corruption.
Everything else is just unverified fanfic, and believing it blindly is just retarded. Even more stupid would be drumming up an outrage over this and spreading it around everywhere only to be BTFO the next morning by SciresM or something and making all the shills for this game dismiss all legitimate complaints for this game as horseshit.
>>41327452It's not moving goalposts if nothing was confirmed though. You're using the metaphor really incorrectly here. The point of requiring a legitimate report is to actually ground your goalpost.
>Until a credible source for this claim comes to fruition, I refuse to believe it.It's not an unreasonable standard to hold your ground on; especially in the age of outrage culture and mass social manipulation through coordinated riots. The game is shit, but making up reasons for it being shit just detracts from the actual pile. If it's true, wait for confirmation and then rally behind it. If it's false, well you lose nothing because you didn't divert the discussion into something that just blew up in your face in the end.
The initial reports were:
>THE GAME IS DELETING ALL SAVE DATAThen the hacking scene weighed in to confirm that this doesn't happen because the save data is stored in NAND (which SwSh doesn't have any illegal permissions for).
So what goal post was moved here, exactly?
