Its dex entry implied that SWSH is after SM. From what I played so far, only Unova and Alola are mentioned. Arceus got a small reference in Silvally's entry.

Mass production is too strong a word but there's definitely a few more than three out there. We've seen this same thing happen with Castform, a Pokemon made by the weather institute in Hoenn wound up being found in the wild in Alola.
