I think the most exciting part of SWSH being hacked/edited so easily is that it provides a platform for actual 3D Pokémon fan games. Imagine if your custom assets could be put into a prepared Pokémon engine the same way R/S/E/LG/FR hacks are. GameFreak has unintentionally heralded in potential for PokeMMOs if we play our cards right here.
