Blastoise and venasaur are in the games code. They will be added as event Pokemon, maybe with a new gigantamax form.

This is just a stupid theory. You really think they're gonna add 35 random Pokemon to the games code so later they can say "you can transfer them! " What a ridiculous thing to say. Its obvious theyre gonna be future raid battles to keep people talking about the game since Sinnoh remakes come next not a sequel.

I choose Squirtle as well OP but as far as pokemon go Blastoise was treated pretty well IMO

He lost his mega but he got shell smash, life dew, and body press this gen.

Body press does let him say fuck you to Blissey and stuff.

Which is more than what Pidgeot got. Took til mid of gen 6 for gamefreak to even throw it a bone and they threw it a bone that turned out to have poor scraps on it in the end.

well body press will get weaker with shell smash actually unless you give Blastoise a red herb and won't get stronger with the attack boost.

But yeah while Blastoise having shell smash is nice I don't see it fully out doing Cloyster for example. But I guess it is easier to maybe set up Blastoise.

I was thinking of just using brick break or eq at+2, hell even just waterfall or physical max geyser.

While there is merit in a mixed spin Blastoise as a full deterrent to chansey I was just thinking on how Blastoise could exploit chansey, Ferro and even heavily harm Tokapex.
