They’re still the best remakes in the series, but since FRLG are mediocre and ORAS are trash, it’s not exactly a high bar

Literally the only time it's slow is when you're OHKOing a fatmon like chansey.
I've never understood the hatred for the slightly slower speed. I like it a lot more than gen 5 where every animation looks two times as fast as it should.
