Same question, if you breed a gigantamax pokemon would the offspring be able to do it or is it only for pokemon you catch in gigantamax form?

So far the only ones I've gotten are pokemon I don't want to spend the time breeding then evolving to see if it works.

Future competitions might allow them, it's just this first competition that has it banned, probably because it's supposed to be entry level and Gigantimax is the one huge grind point.
