Petting is important. It should never leave. Maybe include HD rumble in it now.
Hand feeding with puffs/beans/whatever should also always be there.
Bring back minigames from amie and expand upon them and add more of them so they’re actually fun.
Bring back cleaning, drying, brushing, etc. from refresh and maybe even let us give them fully fledged baths like nintendogs.
All the pokemon wander and interact with each other like camp. Maybe improve the AI though.
I don’t know much about the “conversations” camp has, but sure why not.
More toys. Tail makes them attack, ball makes them fetch.. maybe a laser pointer they can chase? A frisbee to catch out of the air or miss? Tug of war rope? Some weird thing they all run away from and are wary of? Lots more potential there.
And I guess you can have curry or some equivalent too.
And most importantly, more unique animations for all of these situations so it’s worthwhile doing. Of course I would never expect something this great from Game Freak.
