If you don't care about getting the other version's exclusives, Black City/White Forest and the appearance of Route 4 and Opelucid City, get White 2. Keeps continuity for a few story beats and lets you catch the opposite legendary.

Otherwise they're pretty similar.

My doctor asked me why my eyes were so bad and I told him, because I was playing gen 5. He said that if I continue playing it, I will need glasses because of how bad it looks. Thanks to my doc's recommendation I spared myself from wearing glasses.

The medal rally put an incentive behind doing absolutely everything in the game and doing everything required the Black Tower/White Treehollow, PWT, Pokestar Studios, and Musicals to be completed. They even put medals behind little shit like seeing Wailord in Marine Tube, seeing all the trains in Anville Town, and finding the graffiti on Route 2's signpost. It made every little discovery and action a milestone and I really like the game for it. I wish future games implemented the medal rally because they made the game feel more alive than it already was and were a good record keeping system to boot.

It's kinda gay to unlock. If you beat Black 2 you'll unlock hardmode but you would have to delete your current game and start a new one. It's more like a new game plus but it is really fun and actually somewhat challenging.
Btw for White 2 you'll unlock an easy mode. I don't now how Gamefreak ever thought that people would want to play an easier version of a game they just finished but whatever.

What do you have anon? A 3DS with homebrew is the best way to do this. Just get twilightmenu++ and the DS game forwarder or whatever it was called to turn the .nds to .cia and have them on the homescreen. If you're looking to collect just buy the boxes
