Steven and Diantha are too absent (I will give Diantha props for also doing the Battle Castle though, but too little too late).
Alder and Iris has presence more when taking both BW and BW2 in account, but Alder is basically a Jobber. And Iris absence for the Kyurem Crisis was pretty glaring
and even as Gym Leader she was outshone by Drayden, she was "Kicked Upstairs" as far as im concerned, great battle theme though..
Wallace is okay, he actually feels a bit more present the Steven so that's good at least, but he still could been better, on the plus side he definitely specialize in a Typing that is iconic for Hoenn.
Leon isn't too bad after you get past the fact he 100% wants to fuck his Charizard and that the game shills him HARD basically all the way through, but that makes beating him and ruining his career more satisfying and it kinda has to because SwSh doesn't have much going on aside from BEAT THE LEAGUE AND BECOME THE CHAMPION.
Lance has a bit of presence due being from RBY and having the Lake of Rage raid but he is outshone by the fact that Red and Blue are in the same game and stronger then him.
