I bought Sun and Moon because previews looked good and I didn't want to spoil myself, shooting myself in the foot with the sheer dogshit that that game was. I didn't buy USUM because Sun and Moon are dogshit, but USUM are objectively better games. By a hair, but they have more content which is about the only thing it has going for it.

Oh wow, Aether is actually evil, it's not like literally every single human being on the planet simultaneously figured that twist out the attosecond it was revealed that we learned about the Aether. The only good aspect of the story is Team Skull and they get tossed to the side while Lillie drags us along the story that she's the protagonist of.
