It's easily selling the best proportional to number of consoles sold, so the number will go way up as more Switches sell, which probably means soon with the holidays and Lite being a thing. There are also WAY more digital sales now, since not only are people more open to it in general, but the Switch advertises digital on it's main menu aggressively every day.

I'd pretty much guarantee it outselling gens 5 and 6. Not sure about 7 because of Go practically rebooting Pokemania for a short while.
