Sword flavor text states that "When this Pokémon becomes angry, its pores secrete a poisonous sweat, which it sprays at its opponent's eyes."
I scrolled past its moves list and there is not even one poison type move on this guy.
What gives?

No. In the game files Umbreon cannot have Toxic. You won't be able to send it over and have it keep the move. A lot of Pokemon lost moves.

Hawlucha is basically immune to Ditto's shenanigans because of how Unburden works. It also gets Swords Dance, Max Fighting, and Max Flying.

The ones it's most relevant on still have it, and honestly I like this change, it makes stall less stupid. The rest of the shitmons are mostly for flavor (and that should include Umbreon)

Poison sweat is referenced in Gold, Stadium2, LeafGreen, HeartGold and Sun pokedex entries.
Looking back, Umbreon could at very least be taught Toxic.

If it works like past gens, it won't matter if the move is not in the Pokemon's data files. How else do you think stuff like Octazooka Sableye works?

However, it's too early to tell if Home will be erasing moves from old Pokemon.

Actually Dark existed in the Spaceworld build (Girafarig was Dark/Normal) and Umbreon was STILL a Poison-type, evolving with the Poison Stone.

This isn't accurate. Only moves that were deleted are not able to be sent through Home. Others such as Toxic, Roost, and Knock Off will be able to be sent through Home just like it's always been with things like ExtremeSpeed Zigzagoon before it became an egg move, and they are already legal on Showdown.

Basically same as Gyarados. Dmax Flying hits like a truck, gives speed boost, if you KO (which is likely), you'll get the boost from Moxie and now you just basically set up Dragon Dance while actually knocking something out
