I was under the assumption that the ball you use to catch a raid Mon is just for cosmetics and not indicative of capture rate.

Nah, it's actually possible to fail a capture. It happened to me multiple times, especially with Gmax forms.

I think that's what he meant. I like the idea of using beast balls for raid mons because I like the theory that Eternatus is an Ultra Beast and the dynamaxed raid mons are using UB energy. Obviously just headcanon but fun anyway

Who's to say he didn't slip into our reality through a wormhole, THEN come crashing down in a meteor? Alien Pokemon are still really cool though since it implies there are either entire planets full of alien Pokemon or a bunch of eldtritch fucks floating around in space

personally i catch all my mons in luxury balls, i don't really care about catchrate since i moreso care about the looks of the pokeball since i'm gonna be seeing it every time i max the pokemon
