Well at least you payed 15$, because it's almost the same exact game like SM with very small changes. You can catch like 100 more Pokemon, so that's good I guess.

the retarded SOS rollover bug was fixed in USUM (in SM, if your chain hit 255, shiny and IV odds went back to standard)

there's also a pool of very easy shinies you can get in the ultra wormhole, but the available mons are mostly shitty or have ugly shinies

There's some pretty great ultra wormhole shines too, though. I love the Hippowdon, Swellow, Ludicolo, Altaria, and Yanmega I got there. What's also handy is that if you save before the encounter the shininess is set, so you can reset for ideal nature/IVs/ability.

I've not touched SwSh for obvious reasons and I've still not got around to ORAS, but XY are the worst games I've played in the series, I had way more fun with gen 7.

If there was a version with no hands-off NPC segments or cutscenes, It would be one of my favorites. Unfortunately, that is very much a big part of the game. Makes playing the games over again unenjoyable.
