I think that one of the reason why a lot of new Pokémon look ugly (besides Turner’s incompetence) and a lot of old ones look crappy is because of this plasticky shading.

I think that SM models in 4K with the outlines is way better and way more in line with the Pokémon style (aka: SOUL)
