It's a gimmick to draw normies in and a lazy, broken combination of Z-moves and mega evolutions

As an avid anti-GF enthusiast, this G-Max Zard is a sweet-looking design. I mean, it’s honeslty ruined by the fact that it’s 300 feet tall, that in general was such a stupid fucking gimmick but if this was the design of a mega for instance I would think it was pretty cool.

As an VGC player i'm legit scared of Gigantamax Pikachu and Butterfree. Their moves inflict nasty statuses on both opposing pokemon. Also the trappers are pretty nasty too.

At least choice items lose their boost and locking effect during dynamax, i assume it's the same for Life Orb.

No. Dynamax Corviknight, like most defensive pokemon, generally isn't worth using to begin with, but if you do use it, the speed boost from max airstream is potentially more useful.
