Is anyone kind of nervous how slow /vp/ is? It's not even a week after the games release and we've slowed down to an insane level. Sword and Shield are major success right? Shouldn't things be speeding up the more people are playing.

This is still faster than the board normally is, newfag. It only gets flooded with a hundred worthless posts a minute when a new game is coming out. If you want to be on a board where half the posts are just "Bump", go to /vg/.

I noticed after the second or third day after the official release date. People aren't even talking that much about the game. Remember XY? Constant friend safary threads, breeding and trading generals, battling, etc. Now there's a few guys distributing some Pokemon and that's all.
For SM was similar, and we spent like a week digging into the game, I know because I was compiling all the info into a pastebin, TM and Zygarde Cells locations, etc.

It is slow as fuck right now because this board is almost dead. We have like 150 people at max now during the course of a week, but we used to have way more people. During the Gen 5 times this place was fast as fuck, but now it is so slow maybe mods should consider closing the board and people here move to a /vg/ general.
