Yell wanted Marnie to win because she wanted to bring light to the shit hole her hometown was. They're horrible "bad guys" but the reason they did it was sweet. Like didn't even get mad over "don't wake it up" because fucking Hop stomps by it after they run off and wakes it up like the damn douchebag they said he was.
I think they only suck because we also just came off team skull. GF knew people liked skull so tried to do it again, but with none of the charm. That and the game's plot is utter shit and was kind of thought up in probably 5 minutes
