I loved the sports theme and presentation and I'm really going to miss league cards when they get removed for Gen 9

There's too much that I like to really name one thing. But I guess I'll go with what actually grew on me after hating at first. That would be Hop. Yes his roadblocks are fucking annoying but he had genuine growth.

He's a kid excited about pokemon and excited about actually going through the challenge with his best friend and by the end of the story he did feel more like a main character that a series could be based around.

What I didn't like? Fucking Bede. Fuck that Q-tip and his shitty writing and the shitty reason they just randomly dump on you for him being a pompous piece of shit not fit for a Garbodor.

The Pokemon are mostly really good and I love the battle themes with crowd cheering in them. What I hate is this stupid continued trend of making the new Pokemon super hard to find. What even is the point of that?

As an autist I really liked the camera angles during the fights. Something ab it makes it feel like I’m watching an anime

I honestly like a majority of the changes unlike a lot of other people. I think my biggest complaint is the lack of any meaningful postgame or the fact that there’s only 1 optional legendary hunt
