I'd be completely fine with Let's Go being my last Pokemon game if it didnt have those shitty Go Mechanics. Candies, forced motion controls, no wild battles are all things that put the game below mediocre for me.

At this point I would have preferred a 2D port of FRLG with static PNG files for battle sprites like the Switch Dtagon Quest ports. But I guess you cant rope in Pokemon Go flags to the main series that way.

LGPE at least was good for a specific audience, people who wanted a dumbed down red blue remake with GO shit
Theres someone out there that wanted to try the "classic" without actually playing it who had a good time

Yeah, it is. The worst of SwSh, things like the Double Kick animation or the old models that don't have proper mouths, are the things that never got updated and just got imported from the 3DS. Don't tell me you thought Double Kick had an actual animation in the 3DS games.

So you've got some things that are the same as the 3DS and some things that are improved. That means that overall, on average, it is slightly improved from the 3DS versions.
