I know that the main series is dead for the foreseeable future, but is there any hope at all for the Gen 4 remakes? Will Morimoto be the savior Sinnoh deserves, or will they give the director role to Ohmori yet again?

It'll be Morimoto, and it'll be just as shitty as ORAS and you'll have to finally realize that you don't have a "god that makes great games" as much as you have a "guy that squeezed the most content he could out of reused assets".

A 3rd version won't save the trainwreck that is Gen 8 let alone Morimoto. The game needs to be redone from scratch in a different engine. It's like after Gen 3 they completely forgot how to debug their shit or compile code.
