MissingNo is the final "boss" mon but in a surprising twist you lose. It proceedes to delete each of your bros in turn. But in the final moment, just before your last Pokemon is defeated, you are rescued by a mysterious Pokemon and you awake to find yourself in a neighboring region, where you must now build up a new team of Pokemon to become powerful and find a way to reunite with your lost bros by defeating Gamefreak for good.

Mid boss fight they need to delete moves and mechanics, too. Like you go to mega-evolve and it fails, then the mega stone disappears. You try to use Hydro Pump and it fails, Hydro Pump is removed from your move list.
