How were they so successful in creating the perfect Waifumon? Gardevoir has trudged along for years, and yet suddenly Hatterene was able to overtake her. The game hasn't even been out for a week but Hatterene has already completely eclipsed Gardevoir in popularity, and she's only getting more popular.

No other Waifumon has ever been this popular, and with Sword and Shield shaping up to be one of the biggest Pokemon releases, we'll even start to see normies starting to love Hatterene. Gardevoir was never able to do that.
