We can't make raid battles interesting enough to keep people doing them for more than a week, so let's make it so people will grind them for watts.

you can literally go to 3 dens with the beam and get 4k wats and by a TR, it takes 2 minutes, also you get most of the things from raid anyway, not just tm's, but also exp candy and rare candies for easy leveling, berries to reduce EV's, bottle caps for IV's, TR's for moves, whilst normally you would have to have way way wayyyyy more trouble to get all of that.

Make it easier than ever to get battle ready Pokemon but then they go ahead and make moves a fucking grind again.

So you dont sift through 400 tms in a bag you might MAYBE use once? Here you can actually pick your raids and farm TRs by type if you need multiple. Its not even hard.

You still had to before. Strong TMs tended to not be available until late into the game or in the post game.
