>>41416733the thing is, back then and arguably all the way to oras we always got SOMETHING to make up for previous cuts. even alola which was an overall downgrade compared to gen 6 did have some redeeming qualities (i'm among the few who actually enjoyed a more structured story and meaningful characters), but damn, with usum going forwards every entry has added very little if at all, and it's just.. not worth it anymore.
